Rampant Rose Patchwork Quilt

This gorgeous handmade quilt features mouth-watering Spring colours and pretty rose prints. the fabrics are by the designers Jennifer Paganelli and Tanya Whelan, in shades of pink, yellow and turquoise. The top has been pieced with a variety of designs, rail fence, nine-patch and blocks featuring beautiful blowsy rose blooms.

This lovely quilt measures a generous 52" square, making a very large chair or sofa throw for the family to snuggle up with, a fabulous picnic blanket or of course, a pretty and practical bed covering.

The quilt has been made entirely traditionally and has top quality cotton blend batting inside and a lovely ditsy cotton backing with a feature panel of rosy fabrics. Your quilt can be just as lovely on the back as the front. The finishing touch is some cute aqua and pink binding, all 220" hand sewn for a professional finish. There is also a vintage fabric name patch.

This quilt is easy to care for. It can be machine washed at 30-40 degrees and line dried. A little shrinkage may occur because this quilt is made from cotton but that gives the delightful slightly crinkly look collectors of vintage quilts so covet. However, your quilt may be ironed with a cool-medium heat iron if you prefer.

Rampant Rose is priced at £160 including standard postage in mainland UK (please add £8 towards overseas postage, this quilt is heavy). If you require insurance coverage for the quilt's full value, please ask at the time of purchase, this is charged at cost. As always, please read my sales policies in the right hand sidebar.

SOLD, many thanks

This is undoubtedly a uniquely stunning quilt you would be proud to own and pass on to future generations as a family heirloom. You certainly won't be disappointed in this investment.

Each bag's exterior is made from hand dyed vintage wool. Liberty Belle Quilt

This stunning quilt is crafted from the infamous English Liberty tana lawn fabrics, the most beautiful, luxurious and silky cotton you will find. It is made in the "brick path" design, a simple pattern to allow the gorgeous fabrics to shine.

It is backed with pure white tana lawn with a feature panel of patterned Liberty tana lawn fabrics and there is a HenHouse label. This quilt measures approximately 40" and 52", making it ideal as a throw, a children's cot quilt or play mat, even an eye catching wall hanging. Equally it could sit atop the foot of a bed (please get your tape measure out to visualise the size correctly should you wish).

This quilt has cosy cotton blend batting inside and has been simply quilted in parallel lines inside the bricks (this is a "mid loft" batting: not too thin, not too fluffy). This quilt can be machine washed at 30 degrees and line dried. Some minimal shrinking might occur with cottons on a first wash, which is a positive bonus to give that crinkled look vintage quilt collectors so covet! If you prefer to iron your quilt, use a cool-medium iron so as not to flatten the batting.

Liberty Belle is a unique and luxurious quilt, a taste of England at its very best and is available for sale at £140 including postage in the UK (add £5 for overseas postage please). Please read my postal conditions in the side bar and if you require insurance to the full value of the quilt, please request this at the time of ordering, which will be charged at cost.
